Making a good first impression is an important focus for international marketing success. If you plan an international marketing campaign for expanding your business, then your first international marketing plan should include greeting new customers with gusto. You want to make sure during your international marketing strategy stages that you include plans for the “meet and greet” sessions you will have as you introduce your products and services to your clients and prospects.

There are many ways to successfully hold “grand openings” or welcomes for international prospects.

* Make your website friendly and accessible to all international visitors.

* Provide international visitors a special place they can submit queries or questions.

* Invite your international visitors to comment and provide their feedback on your site and about your products and services. Also invite them to ask questions and let them know of any translation or customary accommodations you may make for individuals with culturally diverse backgrounds.

* Make sure you are collected and patient when conversing or interacting with international clients that may need 10 minutes to talk about something that normally might take 3 minutes because of language barriers. Make sure you put your prospects at ease so they do not feel uncomfortable during these long intervals.

* Make sure you thank your international clients for participating and sharing in your website and offering their comments and feedback. Invite them to sign your guestbook and thank them again for visiting. Make them feel important and show your gratitude for their visit. This will encourage them to come back.

* Make sure you always are honest in your business relationships and convey the message that you truly have an interest in getting to know your clients. Most people can detect a phony ten miles away. If you are not genuine then your international clients and prospects will immediately pick up on your negative or false energy. Don’t allow this to happen. Have an open and honest relationship from the very start and everyone wins.

Thursday, Dec. 11th 2008

Article marketing is one of the most powerful and effective means of advertising and of generating income available to businesses and individuals – and the best part of it is that it’s completely free. It relies more on a barter system than on buying airtime or ad space. You give something – free helpful information -and you get something – links to your website and the increased traffic that comes from it.

The more articles you write, the more likely you are to get people to come to your website. But knowing that quantity often leads to success can make it difficult to think of something to write in the first place. Consider this, though: there are two reasons to write articles for article marketing. One is to offer help and expertise; it’s in your head, and you can share it with others. The other is to advertise your business or skills.

Therefore, your business or skills are the place to begin. Here are some ways to start with article writing.

* What do you do? Consider beginning by explaining what you do. Are you a political blogger, an accountant, or an interior designer? Do you sell makeup, luxury pet accessories, or herbal supplements? Explain the business as though your audience had never heard of such a thing before – not to dumb it down, but to cover the basics.

* How did you get into it? This is material for “How to become a _____” article. If you find this business interesting, someone else might also find it interesting, and they are likely to go to your site to learn more about your business.

* Why would someone need your goods or services? If you offer accounting services, you can write an article about why someone would need an accountant, or how to know when it’s time to call an accountant. You can do that with any goods or services, because of course, you know why someone needs you.

* How many different things do you offer? Every single item, opinion, or service can provide its own article. If you are an interior designer, you might do color analysis, carpentry, and window hangings, and there you have three articles.

Remember, article marketing is about marketing yourself, and you have a lot to offer.

Sometimes customer service satisfy their customers by giving them credit onn their next purchase for a certain time period. Marketers feel that the worst customers are the ones that don’t make a complaint about their products or services. Those customers are likely to switch over to a different company to receive different services. 1- 800 numbers are also expensive for businesses to have.

The communication process is to first identify the target audience. Then a communication objective is determined. Developing the media plan and creating the message can be done at the same time even though they are separate steps. Executing the campaign would be next. Then you should evaluate the effectiveness of the campaign.
