This just might be better than winning the lottery!  Steve Demeter developed Trism, an application for iPhone, and earned $250,000 in just two months.  Barriers are at a all time low thanks to big name companies like Apple who have started to give hobby-developers easy, low cost ways to create on hardware.  Once upon a time, this sort of access was only granted to major game makers.  Demeter quit his banking job to open a development studio where he is working on five new games.
