We watched a video of search marketing by Mike Moron. It demonstrated businesses can successfully acquire customers through a search engine to their website. Today’s discussion was about search engine marketing optimization. There are two kinds of searches, organic(free) and paid. There are certain steps involved in search engine marketing optimization, entered query, matched query, analyze words, search index and rank the matches. In organic search, the query is matched to the search index. In paid searches, the query is matched to the ad database. To get the best results for search engine marketing, make sure to use keywords in the content and use text since engines can not read words in a flash format. In paid searches, not only do you have to bid the highest but you have to pay attention to the keywords too.
