In todays class i learned that there are several types of business models. (how they do business). Furthermore, we analyze how some companies make money (review/model). The types of business models are: aggregator (Amazon), ASP (cario, constructw@re), content provider (NYTimes), fund raiser (Red cross), infomerdiary (stockmarket group), market place(Ebay, Craiglist), multichannel (staples), machine2machine (otis elavator), open source (Linux), peer2peer (limewire), portal (yahoo!). Plus, i found out that the most effective way of believing things is through word of mout. Followed by testimonials. The one thing that i did not understand was what did ASP was.
