business models 9/15

Today in class it was something pretty new and different.  We first discusuess business models and main points of it.  We went over value propositions of major companies such as Zara’s and Apple, and also identified their market segment.  We then discussed the struchture chain which is the procedure from the manufacturer to their final consumers.  The last step was the cost structure, which is the profit they receieve for each product.  Then after all this we decided to divide into groups and discuss these four parts of the business models to a company or product of our choice.  The topic we chose is vitamin water, which is pretty simple.  This exercise helped us understand the terms alot better and helped us work together as a group
