It is hard to argue with the crisis we are in, but I disagree by saying that capitalism is the sole purpose for the downfall of the economy. If anything, capitalism did help countries prosper. There just needs to be a little bit more control with the system.

Great article, thanks for the link.

Miss Lisaa,

I agree with you completely. I am no fashion enthusiast or expert, but in terms of business and economics, it is sad to see that the fashion world is still catering to the rich higher social class income earners. Again I am not expert, but I do think a lot of the fashion stuff that comes out is pretty terrible and overly accessorized, which is probably what drives costs. It seems to me that with the crisis that we are in fashion professionals should be looking to simplify and direct their fashion towards all social classes.

Thanks

I am not one to say that America is the "greatest country" and all of that nonsense, but I will say that America has become an extremely successful country because of the system that we have in place, Capitalism. In response to Elevic Pernis: like all good things there needs to be a balance, so to say that having regulation will hurt people is extreme. Capitalism has got us to where we are today (in a good way), but when people abuse the system and disregard the well being of anyone else, then we end up in the economic crisis situation we are in.

Thanks for the post.

It doesn't stop at credit card's unfortunately. WAMU made tons of bad mortgages as well and quite frankly Chase is doing a terrible job after purchasing them.
The bottom line - the borrower is slave to the lender!
