Blogs@Baruch is an online publishing platform for the Baruch College community, run on an installation of WordPressMU. It was founded in Fall 2008, and is administered by the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute and hosted by the Baruch Computing and Technology Center.

Currently, students are only allowed to administer their own weblogs if those sites are affiliated with a specific course. Exceptions may be made by petitioning the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute. The vast majority of students participate on Blogs@Baruch as authors on collaborative course weblogs.

Faculty members are free to create blogs for their teaching and research. Administrators and staff are encouraged to use Blogs@Baruch for college-related communication.

This “Support” section of Blogs@Baruch includes suggestions for using Weblogs in the Classroom, FAQs, and support pages oriented towards Blog Administrators and Blog Authors.  Faculty may also find useful information and handouts here.

If you have any questions about Blogs@Baruch, we encourage you to submit them through this contact form.
