we can use a chapter in tinker toys and explain how the characters or authors of the stories within visions of tomorrow may have used them.
ex. chapter #9 is scamper we can explain how maybe the scientists in “the land ironclads” used scamper to build the tanks that they improved from a pervious idea

In Thinkertoys, every chapter of the book starts out with a quote by Sun Tzu. For essay 4, choose one quote from Thinkertoys and choose one story from Visions of Tomorrow and explain the connections between them.

In Thinkertoys we are encouraged to plan ahead for the future. In essay #4, I think it could be interesting to look at examples from Visions of Tomorrow and discuss in what ways we should plan for our future in the continuously technolgicialy advanced world that we live in. Touch on values and the many misconceptions and problems that technology brings about. What is the best way to either adapt to or best avoid the inevitable.
