Your story is very inspiring in that you were thrust into an unfamiliar, new environment, especially at a young age. I’m sure the adjustment process has helped solidify a strong work ethic and commitment to success that will help guide you through your next four years. I wonder, then, what your current career outlook is? It’d be interesting to hear what career you are thinking of pursuing and why. I’m glad you have a sister here at Baruch and, to reinforce her advice, I would definitely recommend joining a club.
