Provost Scholars join the Honors program after enrolling at Baruch. The Program seeks passionate, curious, self-starters who want challenge and opportunities. Motivated students with a 3.4 Baruch GPA may take 1-2 honors courses, on a space-available basis, and apply to the Provost Scholars program. Provost Scholars, like other Honors students, are required to take 10 honors courses, perform community service, and attend cultural events each semester and are strongly encouraged to study abroad and conduct undergraduate research.

Tips from your Honors Advisor, Jody Clark Vaisman
- Find resources and understand expectations of Honors students in the Advisement and Academic Enhancement Syllabus.
- Make sure you aren’t missing opportunities–sign up for HonorsConnect updates and consult the Honors four year checklist.
- Write goals (personal, professional, academic, civic engagement, cultural, leadership, etc.) with the four-year goal planning worksheet. Be sure to plan for study abroad, writing an Honors thesis, and service opportunities.
