Graduation Information
GRADUATION CHECKLIST
Please review the items listed below and make an appointment with your Honors Advisor if you will be graduating this academic year.
To be completed 2 semesters before you graduate:
1. Go to the Center for Advisement and Orientation (5-215 / NVC) to complete an official worksheet that you’ve met the requirements to graduate.
2. Provide your Honors Advisor with a copy of the advising worksheet which you completed with the Center for Advisement and Orientation.
3. Meet with your Honors Advisor to make sure that you’ve completed all of the Baruch College Honors Program requirements to graduate (10 honors classes, 3.5 GPA requirement, etc…).
4. Zicklen Major Only – Complete an application for graduation through the Office of the Registrar in the semester before you register for BLPH 5100. You can not register for BLPH without declaring your intent to graduate. To download the graduation application you can go to www.baruch.cuny.edu/registrar/graduation/index.htm
To be completed the semester in which you are graduating:
1. Consult with Office Assistant, Ms. Linda Maestro to make sure you’ve attended the appropriate number of cultural events.
2. Consult with Office Assistant, Ms. Linda Maestro to make sure that you’ve completed all the appropriate hours of community service.
3. Weissman & Spa Majors – Complete an application for graduation through the Office of the Registrar.
Graduate Application Deadline:
February 2010: November 3, 2009
June 2010: March 9, 2010
September 2010: March 3, 2010

4. Complete the Certification of Honors Program Requirements form to graduate “With College Honors” by submitting to Ms. Maestro. Please keep in mind that if you neglect to give us the completed form, you will not be able to receive the Honors designation “With College Honors” on your diploma.
For students planning to graduate this winter 2009, certification form are due to the Honors Program Office by December 1, 2009.

5. Complete the appropriate Post-Graduation Plans form and then submit it to Ms. Maestro.
