Job offer / Tutor for SEEK Program

The SEEK Program at Baruch College is looking for individuals to tutor math, accounting, finance, and economics, in addition to other courses. Most tutoring is done one-on-one; however, we also offer group tutoring in math. Tutors can work up to 20 hours a week but must be available to work at least 6 hours a week.

Desirable candidates will have received A’s or A-’s in (and/ or be able to tutor) at least 4 or 5 of the following courses:

  • MTH 1030, 2003, 2205, 2207, 2610 (and upper-level Math)
  • ACC 2101, 2203, 3000, 3100, 3200 (and other upper-level Accounting courses)
  • FIN 3000, 3610, 3710 (and other upper-level Finance courses)
  • ECO 1001, 1002, 4000
  • MGT 3121
  • LAW 1101

Teaching and/ or tutoring experience preferred. Tutors must be patient and enthusiastic.

Pay Rate: $12.00/hr for individual tutoring; $15/hr. for group tutoring
