2012 Salutatorian Corey Trippiedi to address fellow classmates

Baruch College, a senior college of the City University of New York (CUNY), will host its 47th commencement exercises to be held in two complete ceremonies on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center North, on West 40th Street and Eleventh Avenue. Baruch College President Mitchel B. Wallerstein will confer the degrees to the undergraduates and graduates in the morning ceremony at 10:30 a.m. and in the afternoon ceremony at 3 p.m.

Corey Trippiedi is the salutatorian for Baruch College’s Class of 2012, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in international marketing. Corey, from Brooklyn, was an active member of the Sigma Alpha Delta Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and Baruch’s Undergraduate Student Government during his time as an undergraduate. He served as an ambassador for Baruch’s Honors Program and prepared income tax returns for low-income individuals with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program at Baruch.

Currently, Corey is a global marketing and branding intern at New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext and plans to intern in the media relations department at the NYSE throughout the summer.
