The image presented here is a missile from the United States of America firing at the Nazi. On the side of this missile reads More Production. This image shows to America that we have to produce more and more weapons and ammunition to defeat the Nazi. i think this image shows a strong America. The missile is clearly larger than the Nazi sign, but we still need more production of weapons and ammunition to take control away from hitler and set Germany back on its foot.
This image of the US missile firing at the Nazi does show that the war is worth fighting for. The depiction of the missile in this diagram shows that America is huge comparing to the Nazi’s. Even though America needs more production of weapons, we can still defeat them because we are bigger.
I think the image is very effective in portraying WWII as a war worth fighting for because it shows that the Americans can hit the Nazis “right on the spot”. I think it isn’t fair in it’s treatment of subjects because it shows the Nazis as a small easy target. I just think that it’s shows how they are confident in America to fight the Nazis.
This poster is interesting in that it combines both Nazi Germany and Japan under one banner. It combined their signs to show that by increasing production, we will take down two enemies with one stroke. This does not show that it is a war worth fighting so the assignment was no complete in that regard but it does depict the enemies as surmountable as long as we put in more effort.
