The perspective of the creator is quite obviously pro-war and pro-american. The goal of the author of this poster is to convince workers to keep on working and not take days off, as wasted work hours benefit the enemy shown as the Japanese military man. Quite obviously his goal is achieved by having the said enemy pleading the viewer to take the day off.
This is a post for what Japanese thought before they bomb the Peral Harbor. they hope their enemy countries America can take a day off, then they can sneak attact American military base which is Peral Harbor.Because Japanese they think if they beat American navy they can be the overlord on the Pacific.but it is opposite what they thought, it makes American angered, and also led the U.S used atomic bombing Japan. This day off also let Japanese regret for long time.
This piece of propaganda aims to encourage the American workforce to continue to be diligent and efficient. The idea behind this is that the more efficient everyone works the stronger America becomes as a nation. Much of the propaganda at this time encourages the work force being that it was considered the driving force behind American Military. The Japanese wish for a day off, shows that days off show weakness, something the enemy can only hope for.
