NYC has announced a new initiative to help bring “green” entrepreneurs into buildings near you. It is a program that connects entrepreneurs and landlords who are willing to try new green products in an effort to push out green initiatives throughout the city. This program will allow for the creation of jobs as green firms will be able to grow with added business and an opportunity for landlords to make upgrades to their properties that they might not have been able to otherwise afford.
The program allows for the installation of new devises in buildings on a test basis to prove the technology which will in turn increase funding for the entrepreneurs and allow building owners to see that actual net effects to any changes to their properties.
