Non-Profits turn to the Cloud

For non-profit organizations, the priorities are very different from other businesses. The focus is on inspring donations, managing lifetime relationships, streamlining operations.

The non-profit sector is typically not aligned to any specific technology and they generally do not have enough funds to spend on customized software. Considering these factors, the cloud has much to offer:

1) Accessibility – A database on the cloud is accessible to people all over the organization and across the world

2) Cost – Cloud services do not generally require much upfront investment

3) Innovation – Technology is constantly changing and one way to be future-proof is to use cloud computing

4) Audience engagement – Cloud solutions offer digital, social, online channles to engage audiences
