I don’t know if this too late, but I still felt like writing about my first semester, so here it is: A. My experiences at Baruch College, overall, have far more than lived up to my expectations. I’ve enjoyed nearly every minute, and I knew I made the right college choice. B. I think my [...]

Before I even knew community service was a requirement, i volunteered to go help on a day out with autistic children. The plan was that the kids and parents were going to meet the volunteers at a local bowling alley for a couple of games. The main point of this outing was to help the [...]
In the third session we were told about keeping an eye on our Facebooks in the workplace, and the fact that companies are using facebooks to gain information about their employees, such as a woman who called in sick was fired because her boss saw her update her status. I do not agree with this [...]
In our second session we went to a conference room in Baruch and were shown different majors and the career opportunities that they offered. Very fascinating and helpful in deciding on a possible major and career path choice. I also went to the second part of this session later on.

One of the first workshops I went to was a USG meeting… it was interesting, I liked how they brought food especially since I was very hungry. It makes attending sort of worthwhile. It was interesting being there and seeing what happens, also interesting to see that the student government does have a voice and [...]
I found the first career workshop to very informative. It helped me see that one major can be used in different ways. My management major with a psychology minor can be used together very nicely. It also showed me that a management position would be well suited for my interests and could be used in [...]
