a. My first semester at Baruch College was pretty intense, I must say. I really liked all my professors, who were co-operative and helpful at every step. Before I started college, people told me that the professors don't really care, but I felt that all my professors we're really dedicated and worked hard to ensure that I didn't fall behind at any point. It definitely exceeded my expectations.
b. My first semester went pretty well. Except for the last few weeks in which the workload became insane due to my habit of procrastination. But I was more than just satisfied that I got all my work in on time even thought that meant a few sleepless nights.
c. I would not leave today's work for tomorrow, which I feel is a lesson I learned and will make use of for semesters to come.
d. I feel I have become more independent and responsible knowing that this is my time to prove myself and if I screw up now, I will be compromising my career which is everything for me.

a. My experience at Baruch College has exceeded my expectations. I have met some unique people despite the lack of the social life in a commuter school.
b. I came to college thinking it was high school part 2, but I was very wrong. I didn't expect the workload to pile up on me throughout the semester and consequently my grades suffered.
c. Do not leave work to do at the very last minute.
d. I don't think I have changed. I am more aware of the fact college is not a place to fool around.

a. My experience at Baruch College has exceeded my low expectations mainly because of the amazingly low tuition costs. I didn't apply to CUNY for the social life or the professors, I came because it was the best inexpensive way to get an accredited degree in business. So while I might not be exactly enjoying my experience at Baruch, I'm don't regret choosing Baruch because I basically knew what I was getting in to.

b. My first semester in my opinion was pretty good considering that I did less work in college than I did in high school, and got better grades.

c. If I could relive this semester I would keep a copy of all the tests I got back with this semester to take with my back in time to relive the semester :).

d. I don't think I have changed much, besides the fact that I'm meeting a lot more mature people and I'll hopefully become mature as well.

a. Tell us how your experience at Baruch College has lived up to your expectations? Not lived up to your expectations? Exceeded your expectations? It has exceeded my expectations as a school. However the social life aspect of the school is lacking due to it being a commuter school.
b. How well do you think your first semester at Baruch College went? The first semester completely flew by and made me realize that time really does pass you by too quickly in college.
c. What would you do differently during your first semester is you could do it all again? I would retake my first history test.(lol)
d. How have you changed since you started at Baruch College? I wouldn't say I necessarily changed but I would say I became more cautious of my academics.

a.	Tell us how your experience at Baruch College has lived up to your expectations? Not lived up to your expectations? Exceeded your expectations?
So the motif I continuously hear being discussed about is to enjoy one’s “college experience”. Parties, keggers, clubbing, etc- all pale in comparison to a fulfilling a future of learning. I learned that establishing a respectful relationship with your professor is important.
The jovial badinage I encountered was helpful. Networking when students are early in their majors is a good tactic. The rudimentary courses (English 2100, calculus, global history, public administration, etc) is a paramount way to secure connections that can prove quite fruitful in latter years. We never know where our journey will lead us.

b. How well do you think your first semester at Baruch College went?
All classes were given equal amount of hard work and perserverance, my final grades are in the hands of my professors. I tended to surround myself with people who made me happy, so my first semester was pleasant.

c. What would you do differently during your first semester if you could do it all again?
Absolutely nothing.

d. How have you changed since you started at Baruch College?
I feel like there is a sudden awareness of the things I do and present myself, because these actions will surely lead to determining my future. I learned to not be reckless and be conscientious of my surroundings.

a. My experience at Baruch has lived up to my expectations in terms of academics. I expected most students to be competitive and that's what ended up being the case. However, social life is horrible because it's a commuter school and there aren't really places to hang out. If there are any places, they're usually filled up by the 15,000 other students.
b. This semester could have gone better. I didn't put enough effort as I planned on putting before the semester began. Everything was a learning experience and I'm expecting to do better next semester.
c. If I could relive this semester, I would definitely put more time into studying for tests rather than a few hours the day before.
d. Since the beginning of the semester, I've taken responsibility for everything. As a college student, I began to realize that it was time I became independent academically. I realized that if I really wanted to attain something, I would have to do everything it took to get it done. And being around serious business students with a plan for their life for three and a half months has turned me into that as well.
